Responsibilities
- Improve CI/CD tool integration and operations and automate CI and testing.
- Develop and enhance CMake, Make, and Ninja build systems for Linux, Windows, and Android.
- Implement and manage version control, build automation, configuration management, and deployment pipeline tools.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support seamless integration and deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide the team toward engineering best practices.
- Contribute to the organization's DevOps strategy.
- Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues and write automation to reduce delivery cost and time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or a master's degree or PhD in a related field.
- Three to six years of IT-relevant DevOps work experience.
- At least two years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong Python scripting skills.
- Expertise with CMake, Make, and Ninja and experience with a Linux, Windows, or Android build environment.
- Experience with code repository systems, preferably GitHub or Gerrit.
- Strong Jenkins experience for CI/CD enablement and the ability to convert freestyle pipelines to Groovy or another scripting language.
- Experience creating and troubleshooting Docker images and containers.
- Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
