Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable cloud services and microservices for Azure Managed Redis.
- Drive platform modernization using AKS, .NET, cloud-native architectures, automation, and service scalability.
- Own services end-to-end from architecture and implementation through deployment and live-site operations.
- Advance secure-by-default engineering practices and contribute to service reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, and customer-facing teams across multiple geographies.
- Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence and operational accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 7+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building large-scale production services is preferred, including 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of cloud services, networking, APIs, storage systems, and service reliability concepts is preferred.
- Experience debugging complex production issues and driving root-cause analysis is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, telemetry, and operational excellence practices is preferred.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
