Responsibilities
- Deliver well-scoped features end to end across Java, MS SQL Server, and React.
- Write clear, maintainable code and unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Implement accessible and responsive React components using modern patterns.
- Write MS SQL Server queries and stored procedures and perform basic performance checks.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows and document implementation details.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to refine requirements and clarify edge cases.
- Troubleshoot issues across the stack and participate in on-call rotations with guidance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience with Java and/or React.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, API fundamentals, and basic data modeling.
- Comfort with SQL and version control, plus familiarity with testing and CI.
- Clear communication, curiosity, ownership, time management, and follow-through.
- Preferred experience includes TypeScript, React testing libraries, accessibility, WCAG 2.2 AA, MS SQL performance basics, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and OWASP security practices.
- Knowledge of payroll or HCM domains is preferred.
