Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate massively scalable distributed infrastructure for intelligent agentic AI systems and virtual desktop experiences.
- Build platform services and system components supporting provisioning, management, performance, and end-user experiences.
- Develop customer-focused solutions for Amazon WorkSpaces Core’s managed virtual desktop infrastructure.
- Solve complex distributed-systems challenges and collaborate with engineers across the technology stack.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities including coding, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
