Base Salary
$112k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend platform features, modern web features, service integrations, and enterprise-quality code.
- Implement and maintain scalable RESTful and gRPC APIs, microservices, and integrations with external services.
- Collaborate through code reviews, pair programming, and remote communication to deliver secure, highly available software.
- Create logging, monitoring, alerts, and dashboards to investigate and diagnose live production issues.
- Mentor teammates and share software engineering practices, knowledge, and problem-solving techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field, or comparable industry experience within a software organization.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing and maintaining backend services, including RESTful or gRPC API endpoints using a modern software language or framework.
- Experience with server-side development and microservice architecture, design, and implementation in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience developing in C# is preferred.
- Experience integrating with web-based products and working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing skills are preferred.

- Hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of two days per week in an office, with weekly in-office expectations that may vary by team.
- Base salary range of $111,900.00-$162,250.00 in Washington, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York, with eligibility for a company bonus plan and RSUs.
