Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, test, document, and support complex applications, databases, and third-party products.
- Translate technical specifications into code and implement automated testing for new and enhanced projects.
- Lead backend optimization for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Integrate data sources, APIs, and services to improve data flow and system efficiency.
- Develop backend interfaces in collaboration with front-end teams.
- Apply security, data protection, resilience, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Deploy applications across development, test, and production environments and provide follow-up production support.
- Perform systems analysis, code and test inspections, issue resolution, and technical communication with internal clients.
- Mentor less-experienced staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and backend architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or a master’s degree/diploma in Computer Science.
- Expertise in server-side development, system integration, API management, database design, optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Mandatory Python experience, plus strong software development and API development experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, AWS, CloudFormation, ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, IAM, SQL queries, GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Splunk, and Honeycomb.
- Experience with LLMs, agent development, prompt engineering, agent memory management, AI workflows, and automation.
- Knowledge of UiPath Platform and UiPath Agent Builder, with AWS and data concepts experience.
- Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA; AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, Adobe Experience Manager, Amazon Bedrock, QuickSight, and financial services experience are preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
