Responsibilities
- Design and work with UI and API automation frameworks, including page object model and data-driven designs.
- Define testing strategies and approaches for automation and functional testing.
- Write and execute automated test scripts and manual functional test cases.
- Test UI and APIs using Selenium, Java, and API testing tools.
- Report defects and maintain traceability using tools such as Jira.
- Collaborate with QA, development, stakeholders, and cross-functional testing teams.
- Present technical information, give demos, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- In-depth experience with Core Java, Selenium, and UI and API automation frameworks.
- Experience with SoapUI, Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate for API testing.
- Experience testing in AWS and microservices environments.
- Experience with BDD and Cucumber-based projects.
- Knowledge of JUnit or TestNG testing frameworks.
- End-to-end automation experience with Maven or Gradle, Git, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of the payments domain and test management systems such as Jira, Rally, and Confluence.
- Ability to design automation scripts from requirements and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience handling stakeholders or cross-functional testing teams.
