Base Salary
$80k - $95k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software using Python and frameworks including Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Apply software design principles, architectural patterns, microservices, MVC, and object-oriented programming.
- Design and build RESTful APIs.
- Work with relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Develop and deploy applications using cloud platforms and associated services.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Use Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Python software development.
- Expertise in Python and its ecosystems and popular frameworks, including Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, microservices, MVC, and object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Extensive experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with OpenShift, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and associated services.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative and effective solutions.
