Base Salary

$80k - $95k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop software using Python and frameworks including Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
  • Apply software design principles, architectural patterns, microservices, MVC, and object-oriented programming.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs.
  • Work with relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Develop and deploy applications using cloud platforms and associated services.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
  • Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Use Git and collaborative software development workflows.
  • Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in Python software development.
  • Expertise in Python and its ecosystems and popular frameworks, including Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns, microservices, MVC, and object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Extensive experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with OpenShift, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and associated services.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative and effective solutions.
