Responsibilities
- Design and evolve Hover’s multi-agent architecture.
- Define the boundary between deterministic systems and LLM-driven reasoning.
- Build confidence-tier systems and auditability frameworks.
- Debug critical technical challenges and improve production reliability.
- Build evaluation frameworks for product readiness.
- Partner with Product and Design to shape the UX of autonomy.
- Translate business intent into engineering plans.
- Set and execute the technical roadmap for agentic AI.
- Coach engineers to think in systems and ship reliable software.
- Raise the engineering bar around operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building and shipping production AI systems.
- Deep systems-thinking capability across reliability and observability.
- Strong product judgment on automation versus human involvement.
- Clear technical opinions on deterministic systems and LLM reasoning.
- Exceptional communication skills for technical discussions.
- Passion for mentoring engineers and building collaborative teams.
