Base Salary
$232k - $283k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software programs.
- Develop software using C/C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Perform partner system-on-chip board bring-up and third-party API integration.
- Develop Roku OS features, maintain code, and design scalability solutions for onboarding new factories.
- Support QA and channel certification teams throughout end-to-end product development and release cycles.
- Develop new Roku core OS features to enhance streaming players and Roku TV capabilities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus two years of experience in the position or a related occupation.
- Coursework, advanced coursework, project experience, internship, or work experience with software development methodologies; C/C++; Python; shell scripting; API integration; version control; CI/CD and DevOps tools; Linux build systems and dependency management; and multithreaded software development with memory management and synchronization techniques.
