Base Salary
$130k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Become the hands-on subject matter expert for the robot through testing and issue triage.
- Collaborate with Platform Software, AI, Controls, and Manufacturing teams to resolve software and system bugs and drive architectural improvements.
- Lead test-plan definition for new software and firmware features.
- Improve firmware, diagnostics, and self-tests with developers and manufacturing using end-of-line data to accelerate robot bring-up.
- Validate software before release to internal manufacturing and service teams and assist with bring-up and troubleshooting.
- Partner with Test Infrastructure to add automated tests and diagnostics that catch regressions and improve system reliability.
Requirements
- Ability to debug complex hardware/software systems and identify targeted tests for regression isolation and root-cause analysis.
- Programming experience in C++ and Python.
- Experience integrating and validating complex software systems in robotics, mechatronics, or electric vehicle environments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Self-sufficiency, strong ownership, and ability to manage multiple high-impact priorities.
