Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end applications in collaboration with designers, business analysts, and testing specialists.
- Participate in requirements definition, design reviews, technical decisions, and software development lifecycle planning.
- Evaluate and modernize legacy applications using current technologies and frameworks.
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams across development, testing, and implementation.
- Apply information security standards while maintaining application performance and production stability.
- Analyze and resolve incidents, optimize performance, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Participate in rotating production on-call support and periodic weekend or after-hours implementation and upgrade work.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional IT experience with Agile practices and the full application development lifecycle.
- Advanced proficiency with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, REST API, SOAP-based web services, Crystal Reports, and PowerShell.
- Strong SQL and SQL Server knowledge with relational database experience.
- Experience with TFS, Git, Artifactory, NuGet, CI/DevOps tooling, and automated unit testing.
- Experience building user interfaces with Razor and Blazor.
- Experience with modern development tools including GenAI and Copilot.
- Financial services or insurance industry experience is preferred.
- Java experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet the requirements for Reliability Status Clearance, including a law enforcement inquiry and credit check.
