Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain antifraud applications using Golang or Java.
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architectures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine and deliver technical solutions.
  • Use AWS services including SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge.
  • Provision and maintain AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
  • Write unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests.
  • Monitor application health and performance using metrics, logs, alerts, and related observability practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical and architectural discussions.
  • Support feature planning, impact analysis, API documentation, and developer experience initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve distributed-systems issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least five years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's or associate degree, or at least two years with an advanced degree such as a master's, MBA, JD, or MD.
  • At least three years of experience with Golang and adaptability to Java, Groovy, or other JVM-related languages.
  • Experience in the financial industry or with payments and authorization systems.
  • Advanced Git skills, including resolving team version-control issues.
  • Experience writing and validating unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests.
  • Experience with Swagger, flow diagrams, API documentation, and external publishing.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Argo, Jenkins, and Codefresh, including related integrations.
  • Strong relational database design, non-relational data strategies, and data modeling skills.
  • Proficiency with AWS and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience designing scalable microservices and evaluating architectural options.
  • Understanding of observability practices such as monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • Candidates must be based in Brazil.
  • Experience working with critical systems is preferred.
