Base Salary
$129k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, product owners, UI/UX, and other functions.
- Implement sprint feature stories and unit tests while maintaining high-quality code and minimum feature test coverage.
- Translate business requirements into development, test, and release plans and deliver solutions on time.
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle with a focus on customer support and root cause analysis.
- Conduct testing based on system architecture, interdependencies, and interactions.
- Estimate time and resources for software development and testing efforts.
- Provide technical leadership and assistance to internal and external product development teams.
- Report project progress weekly.
- Manage and track software defects and coordinate resolutions with development teams.
- Diagnose and debug system and downstream dependency issues and work with other teams on timely resolution.
- Support quality-up-front, test-driven, and behavior-driven development practices and team Definition of Ready and Definition of Done processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- Two years of experience in software development.
- Two years of experience understanding software architecture and system integration.
- Two years of experience with object-oriented programming languages.
- Two years of experience with software verification, validation, and testing.
- One year of experience mentoring junior developers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of agile methodology, CI/CD tools, and version control systems such as Git.
