Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications from frontend interfaces through backend services, APIs, and databases.
- Develop frontend applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, hooks, and reusable UI components.
- Build backend services, RESTful APIs, gRPC and Thrift integrations, microservices, and distributed systems using Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, code reviews, automated testing, security, observability, and CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and distributed teams.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on, production-grade full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, hooks, reusable UI components, and backend development experience with Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience building APIs, services, and integrations using REST, gRPC, Thrift, and Koa.
- Understanding of system design, distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, and RDS, and non-relational databases including MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Hands-on AWS experience with ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and similar services.
- Experience with Docker, CircleCI, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests using Jest, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience across distributed, cross-time-zone teams.
- Familiarity with Gemini, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to independently own complex technical initiatives, solve problems, communicate effectively, manage stakeholders, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence.
