Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize T-SQL stored procedures for parsing, validating, and transforming XML data against XSD schemas.
- Lead XSD migration initiatives and implement related changes to WCF services and Web API integrations.
- Develop and maintain Angular front-end features and .NET Framework back-end components using Web API and WCF.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions and database designs.
- Prepare change requests, deployment scripts, and validated production data-correction scripts.
- Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams on GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and Azure IaaS server patching.
- Remediate vulnerabilities identified through Snyk and maintain framework and library dependencies.
- Create architecture, design, implementation, and operational documentation.
- Develop and execute unit tests using MSTest and support quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and error handling.
- Strong hands-on experience with XML data types, XQuery, XPath, and XSD schema design and validation.
- Proven C# and .NET Framework development experience, including WCF Services and ASP.NET Web API.
- Experience building modern web applications with Angular and TypeScript; Angular v15 or later is preferred.
- Understanding of Git and GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira-based delivery processes.
- Experience supporting applications in Azure IaaS environments and participating in release and change management.
- Knowledge of application security best practices and vulnerability remediation with tools such as Snyk.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Enterprise-scale application experience, SRE principles, DevOps practices, regulated production environments, and strong troubleshooting skills are preferred.
