Base Salary
$115k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Create scalable, secure, and highly available systems.
- Deploy and manage applications using AWS services.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate databases and messaging systems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and technical design.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and other developers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Java development experience.
- Experience working in a highly regulated financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Expertise with AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS/SNS, and CloudWatch.
- Strong system design and distributed-systems knowledge.
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, Docker, CI/CD, and Git.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: investment banking or financial services experience.
- Preferred: experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, and automated testing.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
