Base Salary
$185k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own backend data pipelines, indexing systems, service and API layers, and application support.
- Build systems and models to analyze advertising supply and demand and develop optimization methods.
- Work on exchange bidding behavior, time-series modeling, optimal inventory allocation, and large-scale data analysis.
- Develop solutions that overcome technical limitations and support business decisions.
- Investigate new technologies and champion their adoption within the team.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical leadership, vision, and strategic objectives.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 8 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 8 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- At least 4 years leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience with machine learning and large language model fundamentals, including model architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and execution optimization.
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, large-scale systems debugging and profiling experience, and deep understanding of advertising technologies such as ad servers and DSPs.
