Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate end-to-end game features across platforms in collaboration with client and server engineers.
  • Design, build, and maintain REST-based APIs and online backend integrations.
  • Build responsive game user interfaces with UI/UX designers and technical artists.
  • Write clean, reliable, and testable code while participating in reviews, debugging, refactoring, and maintenance.
  • Create technical design documents, architectural diagrams, and feature specifications.
  • Improve engineering workflows, tooling, and team processes.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teammates across local and distributed studio teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical industry experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong command of modern C++, including architecture, memory management, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design patterns, networking fundamentals, and RESTful service integrations.
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, Perforce or Git, and IDEs such as Visual Studio.
  • Ability to navigate, refactor, and mitigate risk within large-scale existing codebases.
  • Preferred experience developing or supporting high-concurrency live-service games.
  • Preferred familiarity with deployment across console, PC, and mobile/web platforms.
  • Passion for football, sports gaming, or interactive entertainment is preferred.
