Responsibilities
- Design and implement Android user interfaces that make complex investing concepts accessible.
- Build visually rich user experiences and improve the product technically and functionally.
- Experiment with new technologies to make effective use of the Android platform.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code while treating security as a first-class concern.
- Own the full application lifecycle from ideation through delivery to the Play Store.
- Stay current with the technology landscape and adapt to changes in the Android framework.
- Collaborate clearly with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Exposure to or interest in Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, Compose, Dagger, and GraphQL API.
- Strong analytical thinking in both technical and product domains.
- Passion for delivering great user experiences and working with custom UI.
- Excellent, clear, concise, and audience-targeted communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changes in the Android framework.
- Interest in other technology stacks; prior fintech experience is an asset but not required.
