Responsibilities
- Develop maintainable front-end and back-end applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, Python, Angular, and/or React.
- Build responsive, accessible, cross-browser-compatible user interfaces and reusable UI components, libraries, and patterns.
- Contribute to system, component, UI, data model, API, and front-end architecture, including micro-frontends and Module Federation.
- Develop, document, secure, and maintain scalable APIs and integrate applications with back-end services.
- Design and deploy cloud-native services on Azure using Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and managed Azure services.
- Apply OWASP, secure coding, cloud security, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and configuration-hardening practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, accessibility, database queries, APIs, and client/server workloads.
- Apply unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices and participate in code reviews.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimate work, manage technical debt, and deliver features.
- Produce technical documentation and contribute to design systems, style guides, and coding standards.
- Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentor junior developers.
- Use generative AI tools and prompt-engineering techniques for code scaffolding, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 8–10 years of professional software development experience with significant full-stack and cloud-native development exposure.
- Experience contributing to at least 5–6 distinct projects or major product releases.
- Strong proficiency with .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one of Angular or React.
- Experience with Python, microservices, cloud-native service design, ORMs such as Dapper, and distributed application runtimes such as DAPR is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Flexbox, Grid, component-based design, state management, micro-frontends, and modular front-end architecture.
- Experience with RESTful API integration, client/server authentication and authorization, build tools, bundlers, and front-end and back-end testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure application, API, storage, identity, monitoring, logging, and alerting services.
- Strong understanding of system design, data model design, API design, cloud-native architecture, secure-first development, OWASP Top 10, performance, accessibility, usability, reliability, and robustness.
- Experience with complex single-page applications, distributed cloud-native back-end systems, and fast-paced Agile environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with DICOM or healthcare applications, design systems, Storybook, Linux and Windows environments, generative AI tools, or agentic AI concepts is advantageous.
- Azure, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, React, or equivalent professional certifications are preferred.
