Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives to discover customer requirements and design tailored IAM and IGA solutions.
- Lead product demonstrations covering access governance, provisioning, lifecycle management, and policy enforcement.
- Build custom demo environments and proof-of-concept implementations, including data modeling, configuration, and integrations.
- Conduct technical discovery, requirements gathering, solution validation, and architecture discussions with customer stakeholders.
- Design and explain identity integrations using SAML, SCIM, and REST-based APIs.
- Create technical documentation, solution diagrams, implementation guides, RFP/RFI responses, and security questionnaire content.
- Deliver technical presentations and workshops for executive, business, technical, partner, and customer audiences.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on customer feedback and roadmap priorities.
- Coordinate pre-sales handoffs with Customer Success and Professional Services.
- Manage multiple opportunities, proof-of-concepts, and stakeholder demands while maintaining demo assets and technical sales materials.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales, or similar technical customer-facing role.
- Hands-on experience configuring and deploying IAM and IGA platforms and common use cases.
- Strong understanding of SAML and SCIM and the ability to design authentication, authorization, and provisioning flows.
- Experience building, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful API integrations with identity platforms and third-party applications, directories, or HR systems.
- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver customized technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept environments.
- Excellent presentation, communication, organization, prioritization, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage concurrent opportunities with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in IAM/IGA and technical sales.
- Located on the East Coast of the United States and able to work across US time zones.
- Preferred experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, AD, LDAP, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
