Base Salary
$80k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
- Build reusable, efficient, secure server-side components and microservices.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs and collaborate on new feature development.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
- Write maintainable, documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Implement security and data protection best practices.
- Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD implementation and deployment.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development, asynchronous programming, Promises, and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms including JWT, OAuth, and SSO.
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Kubernetes is preferred.
