Base Salary

$158k - $214k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and operate low-latency, highly scalable advertising systems serving millions of Twitch customers.
  • Lead software lifecycle activities including experimentation, implementation, testing, code reviews, and technical design.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop advertising solutions and shape the technical roadmap.
  • Solve complex software engineering problems involving large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 3 years of object-oriented design experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
