Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own scoped feature, service, API, user-interface, or ML component delivery through implementation, iteration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Write reliable software using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
- Design and implement Python REST APIs, backend services, database systems, authentication, authorization, and event-driven messaging.
- Build and deploy cloud-based applications using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Integrate AI agents and ML components through APIs and develop user-interactive chatbot applications.
- Implement automated unit and integration testing, observability, monitoring, telemetry, debugging, and maintenance processes.
- Translate stakeholder problems into technical requirements and success metrics while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in solution design, design reviews, code structure reviews, technical documentation, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
- Own deliverables and support software quality, system uptime, performance, customer experience, and project completion.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field plus one year of software engineering or related experience; or bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of those fields plus three years of experience.
- Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Python and coding with object-oriented programming.
- Experience designing and implementing database systems using Redis.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD workflows with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization with JWT tokens.
- Experience implementing event-driven messaging systems with Apache Kafka.
- Experience developing and deploying cloud-based applications with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience developing and executing unit and integration tests for backend services.
- Experience supporting client service architecture design and implementation.
- Experience implementing HTTP and HTTPS API communication with Swagger documentation.
- Experience designing and implementing user-interactive chatbot applications.
