Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable Python backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Maintain and enhance existing frameworks and workflows.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
- Build and integrate AI/ML models and pipelines into production systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML frameworks and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience in scripting and web development.
- Strong programming, concurrency, design-pattern, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with web scraping, regular expressions, data handling, and file I/O.
- Proficiency with FastAPI, Flask, or Django and Python libraries including regex, SQLAlchemy, NumPy, Pandas, Pydantic, Celery, pytest, and Beautiful Soup.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and implementing authentication with OAuth2, JWT, or API keys.
- Hands-on experience building or deploying AI/ML applications and working knowledge of LLM integrations such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or LangChain.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector, or agentic workflows is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, event-driven architectures, Kafka, or RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Security domain knowledge and contributions to open-source AI/ML projects are preferred.
