Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the long-term technical roadmap and system architecture for the NetSoft Tier-0 ecosystem.
- Lead the design and evolution of highly distributed, fault-tolerant software infrastructure for Google’s global network topology and traffic demand.
- Establish architectural standards, guidelines, and principles across multiple software stacks to reduce redundancy and technical debt.
- Optimize architecture for global performance, high availability, strict security boundaries, and operational simplicity.
- Lead across multiple functional engineering teams, mentor engineers, and address complex algorithmic and data-intensive problems.
- Develop software-defined infrastructure for traffic demand planning, capacity planning, network design, and workflow-driven deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience programming in C++.
- Five years of experience with software design and architecture and with testing and launching software products.
