Responsibilities
- Plan, build, test, review, and support scalable software solutions across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop backend services using .NET ecosystems and frontend applications using Angular or React.
- Build and enhance event-driven and distributed systems using patterns such as CQRS, event sourcing, and message queues.
- Apply performance tuning at both application and database levels.
- Collaborate with the ACIL tribe and wider carsales organization while contributing to team culture and knowledge sharing.
- Use AWS, monitoring, logging, observability, and DevOps practices to support reliable software delivery.
Requirements
- Strong experience with backend development in .NET ecosystems.
- Strong frontend development experience with Angular or React.
- Proven experience building event-driven and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of the AWS cloud platform.
- Applied knowledge of domain-driven design, test-driven development, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience with application and database performance tuning.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Knowledge of applied AI tooling and agentic systems for productivity and solution design.
- Successful candidates must complete a National Police Record check and have full-time Australian working rights.
