Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure, scalable full-stack products and services for Unloan’s digital home lending platform.
- Own end-to-end delivery from architecture and implementation through deployment, operations, and production readiness.
- Build front-end experiences and back-end services using TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and related technologies.
- Design scalable architectures and lead complex cross-team initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Deploy and operate cloud-native solutions using AWS or Azure, Docker, and potentially Kubernetes.
- Drive CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and engineering quality practices.
- Apply Agentic AI and automation to streamline operations and accelerate delivery.
- Mentor engineers, set high technical standards, and foster innovation and technical curiosity.
Requirements
- Deep full-stack software engineering expertise with ownership of end-to-end system design and delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and the modern JavaScript ecosystem.
- Experience building cross-platform experiences with React; Expo experience is advantageous.
- Experience designing scalable architectures, distributed systems, and high-performance services.
- Experience deploying cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure using Docker; Kubernetes experience is a bonus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or Octopus Deploy.
- Experience with observability, automated testing, and tools such as Playwright, Jest, Storybook, SonarQube, Observe, or Application Insights.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and align engineering decisions with customer and business goals.
- Experience or exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI, FinTech systems, or protected environments is beneficial.
