Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, applications development, and model development.
- Monitor and control all phases of the development and analysis process, including design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Use Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, ECS, and PL/SQL to develop and optimize applications and event-driven systems.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues, evaluate system processes and industry standards, and recommend programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; provide user and operational support; and install or assist with customer-facing systems.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and help establish operating standards and procedures.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts while operating with limited direct supervision.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience designing and building microservices-based architectures.
- Strong experience implementing Kafka for event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of container technologies, specifically ECS.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL for database development and optimization.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, with working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred exposure to smart AI tools and practical experience with prompt engineering.
