Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and support infrastructure for large-scale distributed computing and HPC grids in the public cloud.
- Migrate complex multi-tier applications from on-premises environments to AWS, Azure, or GSP.
- Participate in operational support for a globally distributed team, including incident and problem management.
- Design and operate monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement mitigation.
- Collaborate with Tech Risk on security compliance.
- Work with service stakeholders, vendors, and internal customers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GSP.
- Advanced Kubernetes skills.
- Experience with software installation, configuration, and patching.
- Experience with operations support, including incident and problem management.
- A proven track record of building and supporting complex cloud infrastructure programmatically.
- Expertise in Linux OS internals and administration.
- Scripting skills in Python or Linux Shell.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with observability concepts and tooling, including metrics, logs, and alerts.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts.
- HPC, clustering, distributed computing, and financial-industry experience are desired.
