Base Salary
$175k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain MCP servers exposing data platform capabilities and enterprise business systems to internal tools and AI workflows.
- Build internal APIs that enrich programmatically addressable enterprise resources.
- Build lightweight web applications and dashboards with Streamlit for internal processes.
- Develop stateful applications that enforce standard operating procedures and policy compliance.
- Develop and manage automated Python workflows and pipelines.
- Convert high-value macros and user-built tools into standalone services and low-code workflows for multiple internal teams.
- Define coding standards and best practices for interacting with AI agents across Branch.
- Scope and deliver solutions with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Write clean, documented code and contribute to technical quality.
- Own projects end-to-end from scoping and architecture through deployment and maintenance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Python engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing and building APIs, with FastAPI or Flask preferred.
- 3+ years of full-stack Python development experience.
- Experience building or working with MCP servers.
- Experience with deterministic LLM programming, including technologies or hooks such as LangChain, UserPromptSubmit, and PostToolUse.
- Familiarity with OLTP databases and caching technologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to own the full project lifecycle.
- Fintech, payments, or financial services experience is preferred.
- Streamlit or similar lightweight UI framework experience is preferred.
- Workflow automation experience with Airflow, Prefect, or n8n is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship or transfer.
