Base Salary
$200k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design the evolution of Giga’s agent infrastructure as the platform scales
- Own ambiguous, high-stakes technical projects and drive them to completion
- Identify system gaps and develop technical strategies to address them
- Set standards for code review, system design, and operational excellence
- Write code, own systems, and ship production work
- Work across team boundaries, take responsibility for broader outcomes, and mentor engineers
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience
- Track record of leading complex projects and building systems that scale
- Ability to make and articulate architectural tradeoffs
- Ability to turn vague problems into clear technical approaches with limited guidance
- Strong coding skills and high engineering quality standards
- Comfort with hard problems, uncertainty, and hands-on staff-level engineering
