Base Salary
$79k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships and support the selling of Esri software and solutions as part of an account team
- Develop airport-industry and ArcGIS subject-matter expertise and advise customers on relevant technology trends
- Craft and propose GIS solutions that address customers’ critical business challenges and align Esri technology with their business
- Present technical demonstrations and design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide best practices for using, deploying, and administering Esri technology
- Present at conferences and trade shows and support sales strategy planning and execution
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
- At least 1 year of experience working in or supporting the airport industry
- Understanding of ArcGIS in an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing
- Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design, with an understanding of sales and business development processes
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, listening, problem-solving, and customer communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
- Ability to troubleshoot Esri application deployment and system architecture issues is preferred
- Experience integrating software solutions with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms is preferred
- Experience incorporating real-time information streams with GIS data and IT infrastructure is preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts is preferred
- Programming or scripting experience with Python and JavaScript is preferred
- Master’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field is preferred
