Responsibilities
- Lead and prioritize application, network, robustness, vulnerability, and security testing across products, releases, and lab environments.
- Conduct threat and risk assessments, root-cause investigations, field-issue debugging, and remediation support.
- Design, implement, and validate software-based security mitigations and hardening measures while accounting for hardware constraints.
- Build, operate, and maintain nodal and end-to-end verification labs and execute system-level verification activities.
- Develop automation pipelines, including AI-enabled workflows, to orchestrate security and verification tools and generate structured reports.
- Provide technical guidance to software teams and document test strategies, results, recommendations, and evidence.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of industry experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, vulnerability assessment, secure software development, or related security domains.
- Hands-on experience with nodal-level or virtualized network functions in telecom or similar distributed systems, including lab deployment and system-level verification.
- Strong radio security engineering, end-to-end verification, Linux, networking, automation, and field-debugging experience.
- Knowledge of IPsec/IKEv2, TLS, SNMP, LDAP, and protocol trace interpretation.
- Practical experience with C/C++, Python, embedded Linux, Git/Gerrit, code reviews, debugging, and unit testing.
- Experience with fuzzing suites, web security tools, vulnerability scanners, SBOM/SCA tools, packet analyzers, and AI or scripting-based workflow automation.
- Preferred qualifications include radio or access-network hardware experience, CI/CD and DevOps-style integration, SSDF, threat and risk analysis, security certifications, and familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 21434, IEC 62443, EU Radio Equipment Directive, EU Cyber Resilience Act, NIST guidance, and post-quantum cryptography.
