Base Salary
$168k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead operations and architecture for the FedRAMP Federal region.
- Design and manage resilient AWS cloud-native services using an everything-as-code strategy.
- Maintain FedRAMP compliance through continuous auditing and automated security controls.
- Optimize infrastructure for multi-region scale, availability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to address complex operational challenges.
- Build and operate infrastructure supporting high-volume data streams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, Master’s degree plus 4 years, PhD plus 1 year, or equivalent related work experience.
- Experience building or operating infrastructure in highly regulated environments with documented security controls and compliance requirements such as FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC2.
- Ability to write high-quality code in Python, Go, or equivalent languages.
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems, including the kernel, system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols.
- Knowledge of cloud providers and Infrastructure as Code, ideally AWS, Terraform, Puppet, and Kubernetes.
- Experience identifying and analyzing cybersecurity risks.
- Familiarity with security standard processes, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, ownership, attention to detail, and ability to build scalable, well-tested solutions.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and some work must be performed on U.S. soil.
