Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for enterprise-grade products.
- Drive technical vision and architectural roadmaps for key projects and solve complex, ambiguous problems.
- Review peer code and technical designs for reliability, security, and efficiency best practices.
- Triage and resolve complex system issues through root cause analysis and service operation improvements.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for software development initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and contribute through documentation, training, and hiring activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus six years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus four years of experience.
- Four years of experience with code refactoring, algorithms, data structures, and developer tooling or test automation using Python, Go, C++, or Java.
- Four years of experience designing and operating large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems and microservices, with a focus on performance and cost optimization.
- Four years of experience with monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Four years of experience applying configuration management and security principles to cloud environments.
- Four years of experience managing senior stakeholders and external partners and navigating regulatory requirements for data sovereignty.
