Base Salary
$61k - $104k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python-based platform automation solutions and operational tooling.
- Design, improve, and operate internal platform capabilities that support developer productivity and operational reliability.
- Develop reusable frameworks for deployments, monitoring, remediation, reporting, and self-service operations.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable software delivery.
- Drive observability initiatives involving metrics, dashboards, logging, and alerting.
- Support Kubernetes-based application platforms and deployment frameworks.
- Analyze application, infrastructure, and database performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Improve reliability through automation, resilience, capacity planning, operational readiness, and reduced operational toil.
- Collaborate with application and engineering teams to improve platform adoption, deployment standards, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong Python development and automation experience.
- Experience building operational tooling, automation frameworks, or platform services.
- Strong understanding of Linux systems and scripting.
- Experience with observability platforms and monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Understanding of SQL and database fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of web applications, APIs, service architectures, authentication, SSO, and JWT or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and system-level problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Ansible, Terraform, Helm, platform engineering or internal developer platform experience, self-healing or auto-remediation experience, cloud-native architecture experience, AI-assisted automation experience, and familiarity with SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
