Base Salary

$121k - $202k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and extend Linux kernel drivers for QCR-100 and related accelerators.
  • Implement PCIe device setup, firmware loading, MHI bus support, DMABUF importation, and DMA transfers.
  • Work on low-level software implementation, including coding and testing.
  • Develop and debug kernel modules and sysfs functionality.
  • Support software for SoC systems, bus subsystems, synchronization mechanisms, and peripherals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4+ years of software engineering or related experience; or a master's degree plus 3+ years; or a PhD plus 2+ years.
  • At least 2 years of work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with Linux kernel driver development, kernel modules, sysfs, and debugging techniques.
  • Experience developing in C and using git.
  • Experience with the Linux kernel PCIe stack is desirable.
  • Experience with DKMS-based kernel-module management and DEB or RPM packaging is desirable.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, including MTU, IP addressing, DHCP, kernel networking, and netdev, is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of DMA and IOMMU is desirable.
  • Experience with SoC-as-a-Device architectures or embedded Linux systems connected through PCIe is desirable.
