Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code for globally scaled Google Photos features.
- Review other developers’ code for style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Quality Assurance, and other partners to define requirements and engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with Android and iOS engineering leads to deliver consistent experiences while preserving platform-specific differences.
- Build storage monetization experiences that support Google Photos and Google One growth goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- Experience developing APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience includes performance work, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, debugging, data structures and algorithms, Java or Kotlin programming, system health diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
Benefits
- US base salary of $147000 - $210000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
