Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive, accessible, mobile-first web applications.
Build interfaces using the U.S. Web Design System and develop reusable UI components, templates, and front-end libraries.
Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and business requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Ensure responsive behavior, browser compatibility, performance, and compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and cross-functional product, project, business, architecture, backend, and QA teams.
Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, code reviews, sprint demonstrations, and continuous integration activities.
Troubleshoot UI defects, accessibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Document technical designs, reusable components, and development standards.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise web applications.
Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with responsive, mobile-first web applications, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.
Experience with the U.S. Web Design System or similar enterprise design systems.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.
Experience developing applications compliant with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA.
Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and modern software development practices.
Federal Government web application experience is preferred.
Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Material Design, or other component libraries is preferred.
Experience with Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium is preferred.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud-hosted applications is preferred.
Knowledge of OWASP secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
