Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend services and APIs using Java and Python.
- Own services end to end in a highly available distributed cloud platform.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps practices, including containers, infrastructure as code, and observability.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into the platform.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and on-call rotations.
Requirements
- A computer science degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with strong Java and Python skills.
- At least 3 years of CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- At least 3 years of DevOps experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Linux and networking experience.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities and using Maven or Gradle.
- Preferred qualifications include SQL experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle; hands-on machine learning experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn; data platform experience with Kafka, Spark, or Airflow; observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog; NoSQL experience with MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB; and experience supporting 24/7 high-availability production environments.
