Responsibilities

Define standards for software design, development, quality, and testing.
Design, communicate, and maintain enterprise system architectures throughout the systems lifecycle.
Design interoperability, interfaces, and integrations with other systems.
Elicit needs and analyze business, user, and technical requirements.
Translate business goals, priorities, project benefits, and technical needs into system architectures.
Identify potential solution options and assess the feasibility of large ICT solutions across multiple countries.
Estimate and size software development work and contribute to system design, testing, quality assurance, and change management.
Prepare system documentation and presentations.
Lead development teams and development processes.
Select and evaluate technologies and interpret system metrics.
Optimize systems for performance, security, and quality.
Support field operations and liaise with business stakeholders.

Master’s degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, or bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience architecting software systems and experience serving as key architect for at least two software systems.
Master-level certification in a software development technology domain or software solutions architecture.
Expertise in systems architecting and designing enterprise-level software systems.
Expertise in capacity planning, system security, databases, application servers, communication middleware, web servers, GIS services, directory services, Microsoft-platform security, business intelligence, systems integration, and integrated development environments.
Expertise in UML and software development methodologies, lifecycles, and workflows such as RUP and ISO 12207.
Proficiency with systems modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris Architect.
Excellent English proficiency at C1 level, communication, documentation, problem-solving, leadership, and business stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience assessing large ICT solutions covering multiple countries, video surveillance or video streaming, field-operation ICT support, and cloud storage systems.
