Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain complex cloud-based infrastructure, systems, and services to ensure uptime.
- Automate and develop tooling, processes, and infrastructure to make development faster, repeatable, and error-proof.
- Support product engineering teams with scaling, performance, uptime, and production issue diagnosis.
- Analyze and tune systems, code, and networking for optimal operation and scale.
- Develop frameworks and processes for improving reliability, uptime, security, and maintainability.
- Work with GenAI tools and technology.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience supporting consumer-facing web application production environments in a Site Reliability Engineering or Production Engineering role.
- At least 2 years of on-call experience in a 24/7 cloud-based production environment.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and supporting modern cloud-based environments and infrastructure such as AWS or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with edge technologies such as load balancers, reverse proxies, web application firewalls, and routing.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, DNS, and NTP.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience is a plus but not required.
