Base Salary

$160k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect, automate, test, deploy, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud and AWS C2E.
  • Ensure adherence to SOC2, NIST 800-171, and FedRAMP Moderate controls in cleared environments and workflows.
  • Manage deployment and ongoing maintenance of Quindar deployments at government sites.
  • Drive Quindar readiness and deployment onto AWS C2E through control implementation, container hardening, deployment configuration, and networking work.
  • Define best practices for service availability, latency, and performance as the team grows.
  • Handle incident management, 24/7 on-call support, and technical troubleshooting of complex enterprise and mission-critical systems.
  • Develop automation that reduces manual intervention.
  • Collaborate with frontend, backend, and flight/mission operations engineering teams to meet required system performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as an SRE, DevOps, reliability, infrastructure, or platform engineer.
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher is required; TS/SCI is preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, serverless architectures, AWS EKS or Rancher, and AWS cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with GovCloud, IL-enclave, C2S, or C2E deployments is preferred or highly desirable.
  • Experience with observability stacks such as Grafana LGTM or Datadog.
  • Proficiency in Python and Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling.
  • Strong networking knowledge covering VPNs, NLBs/ALBs, HTTPS, TLS, VPC peering, and CDN integration.
  • Experience with API services, distributed NoSQL or relational databases, caching systems, event-driven architectures, and multi-tier systems.
  • Strong task automation and CI/CD pipeline development experience; GitLab Workflows experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, cloud security, enclave protections, identity and access management, Git, and deployments across multiple classification levels.
  • Experience working toward ATO/authorization in federal, DoD, or IC environments is preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship or another qualifying status or authorization under ITAR requirements is required.
