Responsibilities
- Provide technical and functional leadership for architecture and design decisions affecting enterprise SAP systems.
- Design and deliver scalable, high-performance, end-to-end banking technology solutions independently.
- Work across SAP Transactional Banking Services, including deposits, pricing, loans, payments, settlement, correspondence, and end-of-day processes.
- Assess downstream and cross-module impacts of changes deployed in SAP.
- Design reusable, contract-first APIs using OpenAPI.
- Apply AWS and cloud-native architectures for scalability, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Use Kafka or equivalent event-streaming technology for real-time messaging and integration.
- Develop with ABAP using Eclipse IDE and associated tooling.
- Use SAP Git, GitHub, branching strategies, and version-control processes.
- Lead teams and apply debugging, troubleshooting, testing, automation, and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Deep knowledge of core banking systems and SAP Transactional Banking Services.
- Experience with SAP deposits and pricing domains, with proficiency in areas such as SAP Deposits Management, Master Contract Management, or Loans Management.
- Knowledge of Contract Management Framework, product management, pricing modules, payments, settlement and accrual processes, correspondence modules, and end-of-day processes.
- Strong API platform knowledge and API design experience, particularly with OpenAPI and contract-first reuse.
- Experience with AWS, cloud-native architectures, and Kafka or equivalent event streaming.
- Knowledge of ABAP development using Eclipse IDE and associated tooling.
- Experience leading teams and independently designing and delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Optional experience with service domains and SOR adapter frameworks.
