Senior Software Engineer in Test
SentinelOneResponsibilities
- Lead validation plans and define comprehensive test strategies for Console and SaaS services.
- Translate product and technical requirements into effective test cases in collaboration with product and development teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated back-end and front-end test frameworks using Python/Pytest and/or TypeScript/Playwright.
- Integrate AI-powered tools, LLMs, and automated workflows for test generation, triaging, PR analysis, and QA efficiency.
- Use Docker to create consistent testing environments and execute tests in AWS and GCP cloud environments.
- Perform functional, regression, and security testing; identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, validation processes, and testing methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and design discussions focused on testability and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or validation engineering, with a strong focus on SaaS products.
- Proven experience leading validation efforts and defining comprehensive test strategies.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks with Python and/or TypeScript, including Playwright or similar tools such as Java.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools, LLMs, or AI-driven testing methods into QA workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI assistants for testing automation and productivity.
- Experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent-working, and collaboration skills.
