Responsibilities

  • Promote the creation and execution of a team-level quality strategy with QA Leadership.
  • Work with the Product Owner and team members to understand user stories and inform quality decisions.
  • Reduce product risks through confirmation and regression testing.
  • Escalate risks and quality concerns to product leadership.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining automated tests.
  • Communicate test status with all partners.
  • Guide external partner teams and oversee and audit their work.
  • Manage the team defect database and enforce best practices.
  • Create test plans and test cases and establish testing structure and cadence.
  • Improve team-level test execution methods.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of software QA experience.
  • Experience testing services and web front ends.
  • Experience with strategic goal setting.
  • Experience testing backend systems and services in game development is desired.
  • Ability to conduct deep-dive investigations and test technical implementations is desired.
  • Experience with Swagger, SQL, Postman, and SoapUI is desired.
  • Experience with Perforce and Git is desired.
  • Experience with test automation tools is desired.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is desired.
  • Experience playing League of Legends is desired.
