QA Engineer - League of Legends (12 Month Contract)
Riot GamesResponsibilities
- Promote the creation and execution of a team-level quality strategy with QA Leadership.
- Work with the Product Owner and team members to understand user stories and inform quality decisions.
- Reduce product risks through confirmation and regression testing.
- Escalate risks and quality concerns to product leadership.
- Contribute to creating and maintaining automated tests.
- Communicate test status with all partners.
- Guide external partner teams and oversee and audit their work.
- Manage the team defect database and enforce best practices.
- Create test plans and test cases and establish testing structure and cadence.
- Improve team-level test execution methods.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software QA experience.
- Experience testing services and web front ends.
- Experience with strategic goal setting.
- Experience testing backend systems and services in game development is desired.
- Ability to conduct deep-dive investigations and test technical implementations is desired.
- Experience with Swagger, SQL, Postman, and SoapUI is desired.
- Experience with Perforce and Git is desired.
- Experience with test automation tools is desired.
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is desired.
- Experience playing League of Legends is desired.
