Responsibilities
- Develop Java back-end software for the R7 risk platform.
- Build service-based functionality supporting customer needs and complex backend calculations and analytics.
- Migrate and harmonize functionality from existing critical risk systems.
- Work within a cloud-native microservice and service-oriented architecture.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team and support the operation of large-scale production systems.
Requirements
- At least three years of commercial experience developing software in Java.
- Basic understanding of DevOps/SRE approaches for designing and operating large-scale production systems.
- Understanding of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices and service-oriented architectures.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of financial markets, including bonds, equities, interest rate swaps, futures, and options.
- Fluent English and Czech language skills.
- Experience with Java in a substantial real-world application is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native solutions on GCP, Azure, or AWS is a plus.
- Commercial C++ development experience is a plus.
