Responsibilities
- Build and continuously develop Java Spring Boot backend applications.
- Work with JDBC, messaging middleware, and REST APIs.
- Review colleagues’ code.
- Design and implement test automation rather than relying on manual testing.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders in Prague, London, and Pune.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience building Java Spring Boot backend applications.
- Experience with JDBC, messaging middleware, and REST APIs.
- Ability to review other colleagues’ code.
- Willingness to deliver test automation and reduce reliance on manual testing.
- Fluent English sufficient for phone and Teams calls.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other cloud deployment is a plus.
- Linux scripting experience is a plus.
- FX trading and SWIFT payments domain experience is a plus.
